Work Experience:
Jason Johnson's professional journey is characterized by a blend of academic excellence and practical experience. While pursuing his undergraduate degree at UIC, Jason demonstrated his commitment to service by serving in the Air National Guard for the 126th Air Refueling Wing at O’Hare Air Reserve Station until its relocation to Scott Air Force Base in 1999. Concurrently, he embarked on his professional career, initially joining Nel PreTech Corporation (NPC) part-time during his studies at UIC. After graduating in 2000, Jason transitioned to a full-time role at NPC, which was then situated at the Blackhawk Plaza on 191st Street.
Jason's tenure at NPC is marked by continuous growth and multifaceted contributions. Starting as a CMM and Vision system operator, he has evolved to oversee critical operations, including the management of CMMs, Vision Systems, CT, and Blue Light scanners. In addition to his technical expertise, Jason serves as the Quality Manager, ensuring the maintenance of NPC's Quality System and ISO 17025 accreditation. He also serves as the company's IT specialist, instrumental in developing and maintaining NPC's Customer and Job tracking software.
Interests and Activities:
Beyond his professional pursuits, Jason finds fulfillment in various interests and activities. He cherishes spending quality time with his wife and two children, enthusiastically embracing the excursions she plans. An avid reader and viewer of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, Jason finds solace and inspiration in the realms of imagination. He shares a special bond with his brother, often bonding over late-night movie outings. Additionally, Jason maintains an active lifestyle by participating in 5k or 10k running events both locally and in the city.
